Hartzell Air Movement Adds Unique Advantage to Power Roof Ventilators

Hartzell Air Movement has redefined the power roof ventilator with a unique advantage to decrease service time while eliminating the risk of moisture. “The addition of a zero-leak service door which moves both the propeller and motor out of the airstream has a significant impact on quick service,” says Tom Gustafson, Chief Technology Officer. “This new design with a zero-leak seal is a reaction to customer requests where critical systems cannot be exposed to moisture as other fans have previously allowed.”

Hartzell’s industrial ventilation expertise was employed to ensure that the ventilator would be leak free for the life of the fan. Gustafson continues, “By providing several new features to this service access point, including industry-leading technology in the hinge and seal, the design prevents the seal from being removed during cleaning as users have experienced with other power roof ventilators.”
