Kelly Hostetter Promoted to General Manager of Hartzell Hardwoods, Inc.

Hartzell Hardwoods is pleased to announce that Kelly R. Hostetter has been promoted to General Manager. He will be overseeing the company’s sales, operations, and procurement while reporting directly to the CEO & Board of Directors. Hartzell Hardwoods is known throughout the world as a leading producer of fine walnut lumber as well as top quality thick stock red and white oak lumber. Their philosophy continues to be characterized by innovation, quality, and integrity.

Kelly began his career with Hartzell in 1999 as a Sales Representative. By 2003, he became Sales Manager until 2010 when he eventually moved into the Vice President of Sales and Marketing position. He has been a driving force behind Hartzell Hardwoods success and growth in markets around the world. Hartzell Hardwoods has experienced tremendous growth since the year 2000 by remaining diversified with sales in over 40 countries. Hartzell Hardwoods remains committed to further growth with the recent acquisition and current expansion in Kirksville, MO. Kelly and his team look to build upon the last 10 years of success by capturing more market share around the world.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s of science degree in management with an emphasis in international business from Wright State University. In addition to his career at Hartzell he is very involved in the Piqua community. He currently serves as a board member of The YMCA of Miami County and Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a former board member of The Piqua Area United Way, Piqua Youth Soccer Association, & Piqua Indians Soccer Association. He has coached youth football, baseball, soccer, and basketball for over 20 years. Kelly and his wife Ale reside in Piqua, OH with their two children Tori and Tristan.
