Hartzell Employee Featured on Local TV News

Mark Allen, a five-year Hartzell Air Movement employee, was featured on the WDTN Dayton local news on Thursday, February 9.  Hartzell is currently sponsoring Mark as a student in the Manufacturing 101 program at the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua, Ohio.  See Mark's interview

The Manufacturing 101 Program provides accelerated training for machine operators that is tailored to meet the needs of the employer. Mark was selected from a group of employees who applied and were interviewed for the opportunity.  Hartzell is hoping to continue to provide this opportunity for other employees in the future.

Mark continues to work half days in the Hartzell machine shop and then heads to the Career Center for a half day of training.  The program will take 12 weeks to complete.  The program director states "Mark has set a pretty high bar for future candidates."  Hartzell is very excited about this local program and the training and development it can provide current and future employees.
