Job Title: Development Trainee

Basic Function:

Development Trainees can take advantage of the Hartzel Development Program designed to provide participants with a broad exposure to our key business functions to accelerate their development and career growth.  The development program is a 12 to 24 month program that develops core competencies and foundational skills through coaching and challenging assignments.  The program provides candidates with valuable training, experience, and exposure to a team of motivated colleagues and helpful mentors that can accelerate their careers  The program concludes with participants accepting a full-time role in Busines, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales or Marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Job duties and projects will vary based up on the rotation.

Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
  • Knowledge with Intuitive or similar ERP system a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to take lead in projects and attain results with minimal guidance.
  • Outstanding Problem Solving skills are also required.
