Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Develops process documentation and performs time-and-motion studies to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and facilities.

1. Observes and documents the activities of personnel to develop work procedures and develops timeand- motion studies.
2. Analyzes work study data and equipment specifications to establish time and production standards.
3. Applies mathematical analysis to determine validity and reliability of sampling and work study statistics.
4. Performs time studies using computer software, stop watch and video methods.
5. Communicates effectively work instructions by using good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Uses Microsoft Suite software to create effective process documents including manufacturing process sheets, quality control plans and visual instructions.
7. Will develop and document quality control check plans as required.
8. Comprehends the manufacturing processes and correctly describes them in written form.
9. Assists in the development of manufacturing processes producing products meeting the quality and cost requirements
10. Special assignments as assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

• Graduated or working towards an Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field a plus.
• 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in mechanical component drafting preferred.
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with composites would be a plus.
